That title may trigger a chain reaction by which I get spammed with dialogue from the dark knight rises by both Philip and Louis but I can live with those consequences.
Wrestlemania is tonight and I couldn't be more meh about it. There is no big match I really care about and I'm very very afraid of someone getting seriously hurt, there's a lot of older people that have a mania match tonight, but I'm pretty sure I'll still watch some of it and the rest tomorrow after I wake up since the whole thing is probably gonna go a thousand hourse, deep into the night in the german timezone.

With the advent of spring and seasons changing

There was a sale of Ratchet and Clank in the psn store recently, the remake of the first game, and goddamnit have I forgotten my childhood whimsy recently. I played through the game in about two days, ignoring the story since It's similar to the story of the first game and I didn't really care much but something about these collectathon shooters is just great to me. Might get out the ole ps3 and play the Ratchet and Clank games I've never gotten to soon.

The Milkman Cometh

Hey guys, Phil here. I was about to record some videos with Deniz when a literal flaming bald eagle came through his window and attacked him or something. It doesn't really matter though. What matters is that he is not here today.

But I am. And I can finally talk about some "controversial" opinions of mine. I do really, really believe that it is best to pour your Milk into the cereal bowl BEFORE you pour in the cereal. This way you get the best ratio of crispy flakes and soggy shit. Also the milk then isn't soiled by that sugary phlegm of hell. Come to think of it... I should replace the cereal with milk. This way I get to enjoy ONLY the things I like in a cereal. Milk and EVEN MORE MILK!

Fair and even retaliation to racism

I've been trying to get halfway decent at Street Fighter 5 so hard these past two weeks. I'm pretty sure I've failed miserably. As a Tekken player the timing on Street Fighter is so slightly different that it puts me off and the fact that I haven't actually played a fighting game since Injustice which is vastly different from both other games mentioned here didn't help either. But I'll keep at it!

Stickers and political satire

So I bought Street Fighter 5 last week because I got into the youtube videos for that again and I can't wait for Tekken 7 to come out, so I thought SF5 would last me the while.
Fuck Street Fighter.
The timing in that game is so hard to get down man! Tekken feels so fluent for me, street fighter has(in my feeling, I might be wrong) so many different timings between inputs and the kind of inputs you have to put in feel so weird for someone who never spent much time in the arcade. It's weird and different and I don't like it and I'll play it until my hands fall of or I understand the damned game!

Sometimes an apology is all that is needed

I was gonna do a rant about racism and ideology today, I had it all planned out in my head yesterday night but what does it truly matter? All it'll do is make people think I'm a racist asshole when in truth all I want is to correct people on their use of words.
Whatever I'll do it anyways, here goes:
Banning all muslims is not racism.
Banning all jews while slightly more arguable is not technically racism.
Is it morally wrong? Of fucking course, you shouldn't ban someone for a faith, usually you're born into that sort of thing and even if you're not, religion has spread so far and changed so much over the years and from person to person that one person can call themselves one thing even though their actions and thoughts are completely contrary to it, grandma only goes to church on christmas, if at all and weird uncle bob who has changed to hinduism loves his monday mcdonalds big mac.
My point is that a faith is not a race, racism is [mass noun] Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior: meaning that banning all people from a group of countries would be racist because you are assuming everyone from those countries is muslim, that's prejudice. But saying that banning all people from these countries means banning all muslims is equally as racist because you ALSO seem to assume that everyone from those countries is muslim.
Tl;dr: Trump isn't banning all muslims from entering the country, that choice of words is poor and prejudicial. What he's doing is in my opinion even as bad if not worse, but the wrong use of words here makes you look like an idiot to me.

The greatest plan to never be planned

I haven't gotten back to FF15 yet, even though I've had time to do it. I've gotten old in a weird way, I still really like videogames but going for rounds of games is for some reason more appealing to me then playing for a long stretch of time in one round. It's so stupid because I KNOW I'll end up playing for the same or an even longer amount of time but I guess the rush of endorphines when I win or lose a round is more fulfilling then when it comes after short bursts than playing for hours on end and only after a few days getting the feeling of being * done*. I will play FF15 though this is a promise from me to me and I will get back to you with more conclusive information about the game!

He has a very marketable face/everything

So I started playing Final Fantasy XV which was a christmas present that I only got around to now and it's very.....different. First off, I have not gotten far into it AT ALL but damn does it not feel final fantasy-i yet even though it totally does. The characters in how they are designed, how they sound, how they act and the fact that I chose the japanese voiceover version lead to a very FF experience but the gameplay is VASTLY different from any FF game I've ever played. At first I wanted to call it Kingdom hearts-esque but then that's just a half truth because while it does describe the way you handle your character to an extent it doesn't address the open world nature of the game and the weird desert western thing that's going on during the first segment so far.
All in all I would call Final Fantasy 15 the perfect game to show people who have in the past said they didn't like or at least stayed away from Final Fantasy for one reason or another.

Now that we've had our new years eve parties we can all reflect on 2016 as a year of good wrestling, good tv shows and good....well...2016 was really nice as a wrestling fan, I can tell you that much!

I may have mentioned this before but I FUCKING LOVE CHRISTMAS! I got a headset and some movies and ff15 and some boardgames and I made everyone happy by giving them presents that I carefully picked out for them!
Like, I lifted them up carefully, packaged them carefully but I chose and bought them with reckless abandon because who wants to think about what to get someone amirite?!
No seriously though, I love thinking up a good present, it's never not a fun thing to do.

You can't lick your own elbow

So I spent the last few hours listening to the 69th episode of the roundtable podcast because that podcast is great and the people that make it are even greater. They talked about the last guardian and it was remarkable how close their assesment of that game was similar to my opinion of shadow of the colossus, I think it's been documented before that I thought that shadow of the colossus was an overhyped clunky mess of a game that fell victim to it's controlls. So apperently the last guardian lags and the bird dog...chimera beast that is your pall during it doesn't respond well to your inputs and often doesn't do what you wanted it to do, in my experience with shadow of the colossus there was one particular moment that soured me on the game and that was a giant boss with a sword that started out on a stone plate. So I juke the guy around and my first idea is instantly:"well he probably has to hit the stoneplate on the ground and then he gets stunned and I can climb him, right?" It didn't work.
I tried it several times and ultimately fiddled around for some odd hours just madly making a dash for it, trying to climb him, trying to use the environment and all sorts of things until ULTIMATELY I succumbed to the aloure of youtube walkthroughs just straight up telling me what to do. You know what I had to do? make him hit the stone plate.
The games physics didn't recognise his hits right so I was stuck thinking I was doing the wrong thing. Thusly I hated the game.
It's funny to me that this same exact phenomenon now rears it's ugly head in a team Ico game again, I am saddened of course because the last guardian was another one of those holy grail games for a lot of people but that's how it goes with most of these long development time games, they tend to dissapoint.

THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON

So Pokemon arrived in the mail on friday ONE WEEK after it released in america. Seriously, screw you for that america! Clearly this is a fault of your nation as a whole and nothing else!

To be honest though I do wonder WHY it released a week later, I saw someone in and from america play the game on stream and they had the same language selection as us which is the only real logical argument I can find for postponing a game. I've heard someone say it's because europeans get their paychecks monthly while americans get them every two weeks, can someone confirm that? It sounds weird to me, not just that that'd be a reason to postpone a game or rather to layer the release but also the fact that americans get two paychecks a month, how bad can you people be at keeping your bankaccount in check?!
